A.        Case No. SPN08-0014, a request by John R. Thornberry, to allow a existing 40’ x 32’ (1,280 sq. ft.) personal storage building on a lot where the principal building or use has not yet been established. The subject property is approximately 1.5 acres located in the Agricultural zone. The site is located at 13423 E. Lay Lane, Medimont, ID 83842. The parcel number is 48N02W-33-4550 and the serial number is 114572. The site is described as the Tax #21994 [In Lot 2], Section 33, Township 48 North, Range 02 West Boise Meridian, Kootenai County, Idaho. (Planner – Mel Palmer)

 

B.        Case No S-884P-07, Ranch at Mica Meadows, a request by L & M Properties for preliminary approval of a 55-lot conservation design subdivision on approximately 240 acres in the Rural zone.  The Applicant proposes over 50% of the project will be left in open space and will be developed in three phases.  The site is located on the southeast corner of Highway 95 and Presley Road approximately four miles south of Coeur d’Alene.  The parcel numbers are 50N04W-32-7200, 50N04W-32-7400, and 50N04W-32-8550..  The site is described as a portion of the South half of Section 32, Township 50 North, Range 4 West, B.M., Kootenai County, Idaho.  The Hearing Examiner heard this request on February 18, 2009 and recommended approval.
